He worked for "Samvedana Eye Care for Diabetes" – a 5-year project recognised and funded by the World Diabetes Foundation, Denmark, involving screening, therapy and awareness programmes for Diabetic Retinopathy in the city of Ahmedabad. Dr. Davda has performed more than 2,000 OCT examinations and around 1,000 fundus fluorescein angiographies. He has also performed and mastered various vitreoretinal diagnostic procedures such as binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy, SLE microscopy with 90D 78D, Goldmann 3 mirror examinations.
